Actually, there are some interesting research papers about coffee and human health and performance/brain function, and historically you could say that coffee altered the direction of humanity. Certainly this site wouldn't be here without it?

Last update: 2026-07, but I'm not sure i'll update this file date much at all, this doc should be enough behind the scenes info, right?
Language: English (and the occasional pun, which is its own dialect of sorts), lots of Spanish, some German, some Danish, Some Dutch, but none of those languages show up much here beyond the English. Some attempts at dry wit, too, some hit the target, some don't.
Doctype: HTML5, the only doctype that ever loved us back
IDE: Panic's Nova editor, BBEdit editor, sadly not CSSEdit or Espresso since they were left behind in the dust a long time ago but were brilliantly made for the task. Textmate, Sublime, um, Dreamweaver, CyberStudio, uh, …PageMill?
Standards: HTML5, CSS (light-dark(), color-scheme — the theme switches itself), PHP 8.5
Components: Kirby, a flat-file CMS, no JS framework, no build step, no regrets, no way!
